Synchronising offline files

Synchronisation issues can prevent updates to documents showing or even prevent saving a file.

In order to resolve this please follow the following steps: 

Go to Start -> Control Panel, in the top right hand corner in the box labelled 'Search Control Panel' type 'Resolve sync conflicts' and then click on the item called 'Resolve sync conflicts'

Here you should see a list of files which haven't synchronised properly, right click on the file you are having issues with and select 'View options to resolve'.

Here you should see 3 options one that says 'Keep this version' and below the file name say 'On this computer', the second will say again 'Keep this version' and below the file name it'll have a network path (e.g. \\c-cap-nas-02\W7Profiles... or \\corpad\Departments\...) select this option.

NB You will need to ensure that nobody has the document open before selecting this option as it might fail if they do.
